01 — Who we are
About Heart of Recycling
Born from a neighborhood clean-up, grown into a national circular platform. We connect people, cities and businesses to keep materials in the loop — forever.
We don't manage waste.
We end the idea of waste.
Heart of Recycling started with one question: what if nothing was trash? Today we run sorting hubs, school programs, repair cafés and refill stations. Our heart beats in every bottle returned, every compost bin filled, every kid who learns to sort.
♻ Since 2012Non-profit + Social enterpriseCircular certified

02 — What we recycle
From bin to reborn
Six streams, zero confusion. Learn what goes where and what it becomes next.
01
🥤 Plastic
PET, HDPE, PP washed & shredded. Reborn as benches, filament, fleece and playgrounds. Tip: rinse, squash, cap on.
02
📄 Paper & Card
7 lives per fiber! Keep dry and flat. Becomes new boxes, egg trays, insulation. No greasy pizza boxes — compost those.
03
🍾 Glass
Infinitely recyclable. Color-sorted, melted at 1500°C. One bottle saves energy for a laptop for 25 min.
04
🥫 Metal
Aluminium saves 95% energy vs virgin. Cans back on shelf in 60 days. Magnets + eddy currents do magic.
05
🍎 Organics
40% of bin is food! Composted to black gold for urban farms. No plastic bags — use compostable liners.
06
🔋 E-waste & Textile
Phones, cables, clothes get dismantled & fiberized. 1 repaired phone saves 85kg CO2. Bring to hub, get reward.

Recycling FAQ
Do I need to wash containers? +
Quick rinse is enough — no need for dishwasher clean. Remove food residue to avoid contaminating paper. Caps on for plastic bottles, they get recycled too.
What is NOT recyclable curbside? +
Soft films, coffee cups with plastic lining, greasy cardboard, ceramics, mirrors and tetrapak in some districts. Bring tricky items to our hubs — we take 38 extra streams.
How do GreenPoints work? +
Every kilo = points. 100 points = free compost, refill discount or workshop seat. Top recyclers each month win furniture made from their own plastic.
Do you work with businesses? +
Yes! Zero-waste audit, staff training, sorting stations design and monthly impact report. Average client cuts landfill costs by 41% in 6 months.
How to volunteer? +
Join Saturday sorting, become Eco-ambassador in your block or teach in schools. Fill the form below — we reply within 48h.
